Long time Bloomfield staple I believe different owners now I have been patronizing them over the last let's say 10yrs, I like the food, good delivery from them not really for eating inside. And of course as always I try to support local businesses to keep my town diverse as it grows. Everyone has their own unique taste when it comes to Chinese cuisine, so Light Star works for me
My go-to Chinese restaurant In Bloomfield. It's my first time being inside as I always use their delivery service or have my husband pick up food whenever we order. Inside wasn't what I expected but I guess they don't do much dine in so I wasn't going to see fancy We ordered our usual and they never disappoint. Their fried chicken wings are finger-licking good as the KFC slogan says. It's not too oily and it's not too dry or crunchy. It's just right and tastes so good. As I got outside a lady was passing and smelled my chicken and she was amazed and said she had to go get some too. We also ordered the boneless spared ribs with shrimp fried rice and some shrimp egg roll which were all good. So if you are ever in the Bloomfield area and need some Chinese food delivered to you. Ok people lets get real. Its chinese food and all of these reviews are petty and based on poor customer service or maybe a language barrier perhaps? This place is solid chinese food for a great price and they deliver. Its not gonna cure your cold or change your life but some of the reviews are ridiculous like what were you expecting your Chinese food to do for you. Its good and the price is right as long as your expecting your standard chinese. I order for my kids all the time and they usually throw in a free 2 liter soda...BONUS!
